Olsenhaus merges design, fashion and function while being a voice for animals, the environment and transparent and ethical manufacturing practises. Olsenhaus produces only limited runs of each shoe style (between 50-100) in family-owned, sweat-shop free, fair-trade factories located in Mexico. All materials are vegan with focus on sustainable, renewable plant-based and bio-degradable alternatives to leather. And they utilise recycled, up-cycled and innovative man-made materials, including an ultra-suede that is flexible, breathable and bio-degradable made from recycled industrial waste from a television factory!
